Mosey takes a break from sound work in the movie biz to release a new EP, following up 2017’s Bowl of Eyeballs and a 2015 debut on Future Times. “Tens of Thousands of Acres” opens the EP with an infectious FM synth motif and Rhodes interjections over a bed of field recording blasts. “Low Pressure System” is a sweet house tune to soundtrack laid-back virtual worlds. “Bug Track” is both deep and gimmicky — DJs are gonna love it! Leafy synth textures build towards a dreamy climax in “Una” to round out the first offering from Later in Life.
